Q. Will you ship fireworks to me?
A. No, sorry. We don't have shipping or delivery at all. A visit to our store in Goldfield, Nevada is the answer to your needs.

Q. Do you sell full cases of fireworks?
A. No. If you want full cases, please contact a fireworks wholesaler.

Q. Do you sell wholesale?
A. No. If you want a wholesale purchase of fireworks, please contact a fireworks wholesaler.

Q. Will you make me a package deal?
A. In our shop everyone pays the same prices. We feel that is the only fair proper way to conduct business.

Q. Do you have specials, like "buy one, get one free?"
A. No, our price list is per item only. We don't believe in those "buy one, get one" or "get two" schemes. You don't get anything free in those. The reality is that you paid for all those items. It's just a way to make you spend more money. We don't play that silly game here.

Q. Do you sell Excalibur shells?
A. No, sorry. We have other canister shells.

Q. Do you sell Death Shells?
A. No, sorry, we don't carry that one either. We only carry the shells shown on this web site.

Q. What DO you have?
A. Please click this for our price list, which shows what we have.

Q. Do you sell “Class B” or 1.3G fireworks?
A. No, sorry. We only sell 1.4G consumer fireworks, formerly called Class C fireworks. We do not sell "overloaded" or 1.3G fireworks. For those, you will have to contact your neighborhood "plug."

Q. Do you have M-80s?
A. No. They are illegal in the United States. They have been illegal in the United States since 1966, when Congress passed the Child Protection Act of 1966. It is illegal to sell or possess an M-80 in the United States, and is a federal felony. There is a brand of firecrackers called "M-80 Brand," but they are just regular 50 mg. firecrackers. Those things sold commonly called "M-70," "M-90," etc. are just regular 50 mg. firecrackers glued in a larger tube.

Q. Do you have M-1000s?
A. No. Same reason.

Q. Do you have “cherry bombs?”
A. No. Same reason.

Q. Why don’t you have those?
A. M-80s, M-1000s and "cherry bombs" were all made illegal in the United States in by the passage of the Child Protection Act of 1966. They are illegal to sell or possess in the United States. If you want that sort of thing, you will need to go to Mexico, and buy and use them there. You cannot bring those items back into the U.S.

Q. Do you have salute shells, salute cakes, salute rockets, strobe rockets, 1.3G fireworks or any overloaded fireworks?
A. Nope, sorry. We have none of those. We only carry 1.4G fireworks which are legal per U.S. federal regulations. Just because you saw something on YouTube doesn't mean it is legal. People who put videos of those items online are being irresponsible.

Q. Then where can I buy those?
A. Mexico, for some of those things. But you cannot bring them into the United States.

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Cash App Pay. Even the Apple Watch works if you have it set up properly. We do not accept personal checks, trades, IOUs, or cryptocurrency. Sorry, we do NOT accept PayPal, Venmo or Zelle at this time.

Q. My card doesn't have a chip, it only has a magnetic stripe. Can I use it there?
A. Yes, we will accept it, but we might ask for your ID to verify that it is your card. We recommend that you ask your bank for a new card, because the cards with chips in them are much more secure and safer for you.

Q. Do you require ID?
A. The card you use must have your name on it. If you pay with your card, we might ask to see your photo ID, only to verify that the card is yours. We do not record any personal information. Other than that, there is no ID required to buy here.

Q. Do you have gift cards?
A. Sorry, we do not.

Q. Can I order over the phone?
A. Sorry, we do not offer that. To buy from us you must come here in person.

Q. Can I pay for my order over the phone and then pick it up in person?
A. Sorry, we do not offer that. For payments we require that you be here in person.

Q. Can I use my [wife's, husband's, boyfriend's, girlfriend's, etc.] card to pay?
A. Sorry, no. The person whose name is on the card must be here in person.

Q. Do you offer online ordering? Do you take online payments?
A. Sorry, we do not offer those.

Q. Where are the "Add to Cart" buttons on your web site?
A. Our web site is only designed to show you what items we have in stock, with the photo, description, video and price for each item. This allows you to study our product line and decide which items you are interested in buying. It is not designed for placing an order online.

Q. Is there a permit required? Is there a fee? Do I have to sign something?
A. There is no permit involved here. There is no fee, as there is in other counties. There is no paperwork to fill out. We do not record any personal information.

Q. Can I give you my order, and will you hold it for me until I get there?
A. If there is a specific item you want to buy, call or text us in the morning on the day you drive here, to let us know what that item is. We will hold that item for you until the end of that day. If you do not buy it that day we will return it to the shelf for anyone to buy.

Q. Are fireworks legal there?
A. Yes, in Esmeralda County, Nevada, 1.4G consumer fireworks are legal all year. You are possessing them legally while you are in this county. If you take them into a different county or into a different state, you could be possessing them illegally in that county or state. Please obey the local laws in whatever state or county you are in. It is up to you to research and determine what types of fireworks are legal in the location you want to use them. We recommend that you use them where they are legal, for one example the locations in Esmeralda County that we recommend to you when you are here.

Q. Is there a place to shoot fireworks near your store?
A. We will discuss this information with you in person when you are here at our store. We don't want our favorite locations to be overrun with people, so we generally give this information only to customers after they have bought from our store.

Q. Is there sales tax?
A. Yes, Nevada sales tax of 6.85% will be added to your total.

Q. Can I negotiate the prices?
A. No. Our policy is that everyone pays the same price.

Q. Will you match or beat another dealer’s price on an item?
A. Sorry, no. They can try to beat our price.

Q. Are the fireworks discounted after the 4th of July?
A. No.

Q. What kind of deals do you offer? Will you make me a good deal?
A. We don't operate that way, sorry. Our price list is set in stone. We invite you to compare our price list with the prices of any other Nevada fireworks dealer. You might conclude that our prices are already a good deal.

Q. Will you ship fireworks to me?
A. No, sorry we don’t ship fireworks at all. And, we don't recommend shipping fireworks anyway. We are, however, willing to mail the T-shirts, DVDs and other non-pyrotechnic items that we have. See FireworksLand.com for those.

Q. How old do I have to be to buy fireworks?
A. Nevada state law does not specify a minimum age to buy fireworks. Esmeralda County doesn’t either. If you are under 16, please come here with your parents.

Q. Do I have to show my ID?
A. No, there is no ID required in Esmeralda County. The only time we might ask to see your ID is if you pay by credit card or debit card. We only do this to verify that the card is yours, which protects against unauthorized use of your card. The person whose name is on the card must be present. We do not save any information about you.

Q. Do I have to sign something?
A. No, there is no paperwork required in Esmeralda County. You don’t have to sign anything. There is no permit needed here and no permit to buy here.

Q. Is it legal to shoot fireworks there?
A. In general, yes, Esmeralda County allows fireworks to be used, but only on private property, and only with the permission of the property owner. Within the boundaries of the town of Goldfield, fireworks may be used only on July 4th, and only at the park in the town. At all other times, you must go outside of the Goldfield township boundary to use the fireworks.

Q. Is it legal to shoot fireworks on BLM land?
A. Officially, it is NOT legal to use them on BLM land.

Q. Can I bring fireworks into California?
A. No, it is not legal to bring fireworks into California, unless you possess a valid California fireworks importing license. We recommend that you enjoy your fireworks legally here in Esmeralda County.

Q. Are there roadblocks and places where I will be stopped and the fireworks confiscated?
A. That NEVER happens in this county. Fireworks are legal in this county. You will never have fireworks confiscated from you in Esmeralda County. We cannot know what happens in other counties or in other states. But here within Esmeralda County, you are possessing the fireworks legally and they will absolutely NOT be confiscated.

Q. Can I shoot fireworks at your location?
A. No, not right here on our property, as we are within the town boundaries. If you buy fireworks here we will discuss with you possible shooting locations.

Q. Where can I go to shoot fireworks where it is legal?
A. You can shoot the fireworks in any location where it is legal to do so, which includes many states, counties, cities and townships in the United States. The local laws vary from state to state and city to city, so the selection of items which are legal will vary from place to place. Please research the local laws in the place you intend to use the fireworks, before buying any fireworks.

Q. Can I bring fireworks to Las Vegas or Reno?
A. Clark County (Las Vegas area) allows only “Safe and Sane” types; nothing that flies or explodes. And they are allowed in Clark County only from June 28 to July 4. Washoe County (Reno area) does not allow fireworks at all.

Q. Do you allow returns or offer refunds?
A. Our policy on returns is this: If you light the fuse and nothing happens, you may return the item to us, and we will replace it with a duplicate item of the same name. If that item is no longer available, we will substitute the nearest equivalent to it. All sales are final, and thus we do NOT offer any refunds.

Q. Is there a place to stay overnight near your store?
A. Goldfield currently has only one motel, the Santa Fe Saloon and Motel, which has 8 rooms. There are also a few one-night-rental type properties; see your favorite site for rentals.

There is a rest area and Visitor Center in Golfdield, where you can park overnight for free. It is on the north side of Highway 95, at First Street. There are restrooms with flush toilets, and a visitor center building. There is no true camping there, it is for parking only. Overnight parking is allowed there. There are electric car charging stations there. There are no RV hookups there. There are also 3 private RV parks in Goldfield, including Goldfield RV Park and Clark's Custom Camp.

The town of Tonopah, Nevada, 27 miles north of Goldfield, has about 10 hotels of different price levels.
